outlook closes down

I installed IE7 and now outlook does not opens properly. It automatically
closes after opening
I tried to reinstall or repair it using the install disk but that did not
work. it closed itself before reaching the end.
What should I do now?

What version of Outlook are we talking about here?
What error do you get and what is being logged to the Event Viewer?

I use outlook 2003
I already did the repair
I already started the outlook using the safe command
that worked but if I restart it does not work
There were no add inns flagged
the error message
app name outlook.exe
modname ntdll.dll

What version of Outlook are we talking about here?
