outlook can not receive but worked OK worked yesterday

I can send messages out but can not receive them now. I just installed Office
2003
which worked has worked for several weeks but now can not receive email. I
still can send email. If I go back to my old Outlook Express the messagesI
can be download. Outlook Express is not my Default but Outlook is. Any
suggestions/ Bill
