outlook cached email address

Is there a way to copy the cached email addresses from one system to another?

I am an IT consultant and get a lot of complaints when upgrading client
systems.

They are not real good at adding contacts to their contact list and rely on
the cached addresses. But when you install a new system and transfer the pst
file you do not get the cache of email addresses.

Any help will be much appreciated.

They are stored in the 'username'.nk2 file

where is this file located and how do you move it to a new system?

You search, to include hidden.
Rename the file on the new pc to old, copy origonal nk2 file to that
location, ensuring 'username' is pertinent to the new 'username'
