Outlook Beta 2 Problems Continues

I downloaded apps. fix for Outlook Connector as Roady suggested. Outlook
continues to crash; states that it cannot open application under current
directory. Constant closing, reopening, crashing and relaying messages to
Microsoft. Almost a joke now; all bugs should be out before the big reveal.
There are several other Beta testers with these issues.

Did you make a new profile? Is the connector set as the default account? Try
it as a secondary account.

Hi Judith,

Have you disabled all add-ins, especially Adobe add-ins and virus
scanners?

I haven't made a new profile. The connector is set as the default. However,
Outlook 2007 Beta will not stay open long enough to make any changes. As soon
as the app. opens, the dialog box informs me of an error (crash) and it needs
to close. I send all info to Microsoft but of course, as testers, we are just
that! I am up a tree!

Hello and thanks for your response. I tried disabling all virus protection
but haven't done anything about Adobe yet. Will try that next. As I posted to
Diane earlier (and thank you, Diane, for your response as well) as soon as
Outlook 2007 Beta opens, it crashs with dialog box informing me that it needs
to close. Difficult to make changes at the present time.

Hi Judith,

If you have Adobe Pro (not the reader) installed, go into Control Panel
Add/Remove software, click change on adobe acrobat pro and uninstall the
Outlook & Office add-ins.
I saw that Diane suggested to create a new profile. You can do so by
going into Control Panel, Mail while Outlook is closed.
