Outlook attachments (*.db & *.MDB)

I am unable to open or save any attachments with these file extensions. The
*.mdb occured some time ago where the *.db occured within the last week
suddenly. The problem also exists with sending or attaching these file types.

Version 2002.

All other extensions ok. I can open and save the attachments with no
problen with my ISP software.

I have followed Microsofts 829982 direction for changing the registry for
Outlook security but to no avail.

You have Access installed on your PC?

I'd look into my Antivirus and double check the extensions marked as
safe for Outlook Attachments in the Windows Registry (kb829982)

If you get a message about "potentially unsafe" attachments, then see
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318515/en-us
If you opt to do the registry hack mentioned at the bottom of the article,
note that you must modify the entries according to your version of Office.
The approach given first (to zip up or rename MDB attachments) is the safest
way to go.
