Outlook Attachment won't open

When I get jpg files in Outlook e-mail, and double click on them, it opens a
"save to disk" dialog box. Other files will give me the option open or save
when I double click on them.

How do I simply open the file without having to save it?

By the way, I have already checked the file properties to verify that jpgs
are set to open. Double clicking a jpg on my hardrive opens normally.

Windows XP, Outlook 2003

When I get an email that is a forward of another email (one email embeded in
another). I cannot open that attachment.
when I try to save it. it is saved as a *.msg
but again I can not open it, as this extention is associated with outlook....

Open Windows Explorer and click Tools>Folder Options. Select the File Types
tab. Locate the JPG extension and select it. Click Advanced. Make sure
the box labeled "Confirm after download" is checked.
