Outlook appears to hang.

This is Outlook 2000 Premium (Came with Office 2000
Premium) When I start it up, the loading screen (The
little square bugger that pops up before the actual
program does) and then nothing happens. I can wait for an
hour and nothing happens, in the task manager
(CTRL+ALT+Delete) thing, the program is listed and not
followed by the (not responding) thing that shows up when
a program usually hangs. I've tried using the repair
fuction on the Office cd, I've tried reinstalling over top
of it, and I've removed Office 2000 altogether and
reinstalled it and none of that has helped. Nothing I can
find on the MS support site helps ether. Anybody got any
ideas what I can do? Please don't email them since I can't
get at my email at the moment!

If anybody is interested, I finally got Outlook working
once again. It's kind of wierd, I had set a reminder for
myself and turned on the alert thingy, for whatever
reason, Outlook wasn't turned on when the alert was
supposed to happen, I was doing some reasearch online and
tried to email somebody (i forgot outlook wasn't working
and just clicked a mail to link) and the email window
popped up about a minute later, then the reminder poped
up. I hit the dismiss button and now Outlook works fine. I
don't know why this would happen, my machine is about
double the sys.recs of what is needed to run anything in
office2k.
