Outlook and ActiveSync Issue

Ipaq 5455 syncs(ActiveSync 3.8) perfectly on work system XP Pro, Office 2003
(Exchange 2003). All contacts, calendars etc.

When attempting to sync to home Dell XP Home, Office 2003 and/or an HP
Tablet PC XP Pro and Office 2003 I come up with unresolved caledar issues
that will not be resolved. Message states Office does not recognize contacts
and to resolve remove comma and replace with a semicolon. When attempting to
add new contacts Outlook nor PocketPC see the new entries unless uncoupled.

This leaves me with appointments on Work box, Ipaq but not home can or tablet.

It seems like the appointments contain multiple attendees from my work place
and possible that have been queued by my secretary in my name.

I have gone into advanced e-mail and enabled Office recognition of contacts
with commas as seperator on all systems to no avail.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

It sounds like the PST file on your home computer may have some problems. PST
files can get corrupted very easily - it will happen any time you have to
force Outlook to exit, for example.

Any time I've had sync problems, I've been able to fix them this way.
Disconnect your PDA, exit Outlook, and use ScanPST to check the your PST file
and correct any errors. (This utility is in your Outlook program folder.)

Then open ActiveSync with the PDA still disconnected, and delete the profile
for your PDA (WITHOUT DELETING THE ASSOCIATED DATA!). Then reconnect your PDA
and establish a new partnership. That will probably fix it.
