I am running Windows XP Home Edition and Office 2003 with Outlook 2003. We
have multiple user accounts on the desktop computer. After having some
performance issues which made for some annoying computer behavior for some
weeks, I attempted to log onto my account and received an error message to
the effect that my user account was corrupted and could not be loaded. I
rebooted and logged in again and there upon XP created a whole new user
account for me, just like Day 1. I've determined that all the files from my
previous account are still on the hard drive but I had to set up Outlook as
if a new user and I can't figure out how to import, connect to, copy, or even
find my old address book and personal folders. How can I make the new
Outlook account use the address book and personal folders that existed under
the old, corrupted account, but which I can't seem to get to? Thanks.
