Yes, but more recent versions are soooo much better. OL 97 was awfully buggy.
Stick with Outlook Express until you can upgrade.

Yes. Can you successfully use it to send and receive mail? That depends.
Outlook 97 cannot authenticate to an outgoing SMTP server so if your ISP
requires that, you won't be able to send mail with OL 97. You'd need at
least OL 98.
