I IMPORTED THE PST FILES INTO OUTLOOK 2007 AFTER INSTALLING OFFICE 2007
BUSINESS. HE HAD A NUMBER OF CALENDARS AND A CONTACT LIST AND NEITHER ONE
WORKS. ANY IDEAS. HE DID HAVE OFFICE 2000 BEFORE AND I BACKUP AND DELEATED
2000

First, why all the all caps, it makes for hard reading & is considered
shouting.

Assuming this is on the same PC, why did you simply not uninstall O2k, then
install 2007, it would have detected the origonal data file

Probably a result of the import. Importing a .PST file does two things:

A. You lose the following information:

1. Custom Forms
2. Custom Views
3. Connections between contacts and activities
4. Received dates on mail
5. Birthdays and anniversaries in calendar
6. Journal connections
7. Distribution Lists

B. You almost always corrupt the Outlook profile in use

To do it correctly:

1. Create a new Outlook profile
2. Open Outlook and then open the old .PST file using 'File|Open|Outlook
Data File'
3. Drag and drop the contents of the old .PST file into the new, Unicode
..PST file created with the new Outlook profile.
