Outlook 2007 will not start

I have a fairly new computer, 2 Gig RAM, dual processor
Vista Business, all updates
Office Ultimatum 2007, all updates, SP1

I tried to import data from a pst. Outlook frozed. Used Task Manager to stop
it. Outlook will not open. I used scanpst multiple times. I tried a new
profile. I tried to remove Office 2007 and could not. I used the MS KB to
manually delete office. I deleted all existing pst from my computer. I
reinstalled Office 2007. All functions of Office 2007 work EXCEPT Outlook. I
can open Outlook in Safe Mode, but I cannot open it normally. It is "hung up"
on the set up screen right after I told it no to using it for email. Any
ideas?

I think it was blocked at the office. It works at home.

An office blocking a website supporting a corporate software solution... I
can see the irony in that
