outlook 2007 tools now missing

Everything has been working fine for the past month but this morning I went
into outlook and was able to receive messages but many of my tool bar icons
are now dark grey. I went to "view" and the toolbar icon is also dark grey.
along with reply, new email...I cannot right click and move emails into
folders all these options have disappeared. Help!

My computer guy put it on for me when I bought it.. wouldnt it not have been
working from the begining? Also, wouldnt a warning have come up?? How can I
check to see if he did it correctly? Thanks in advance
