Outlook 2007 Slow and non responsive

I am using Vista 32 bit, IE8, and have upgraded my memory to 4 GB. Updated
the computer bios. Purchased Office 2007 Professional Plus. I bought this 4
months ago for the business contact management. When I create a new email
message the characters are very slow in appearing in the message body. When I
try to move messages to a folder there is a long delay in the process.
Everything about Outlook is slow and time consuming. Can anyone please tell
me what to do to fix this problem. I am about ready to go to Yahoo.

Have you applied all the Service Packs? Outlook 2007 had a performance
problem when it was released that was fixed by a subsequent Service Pack.

Yes, I have installed all service packs, updates and keep checking for any
additional updates. Nothing has helped. When I use the email from Coxmail, I
do not have this problem. Just in Outlook. The characters do not appear as I
type, and moving between messages is very slow. When Outloook is in "safe
mode" it does not have the issue as bad. What can I do? I really am feed up
with Microsoft.

If it's better in safe mode, then it's likely you have some add-in causing the
problem. Look in Tools>Trust Center at what add-ins you have installed and
disable them. Enable them one at a time and you should find the culprit.
