Outlook 2007 randomly changes internet format when forwarding e-ma

Hi - I am very untechy, but this board has helped me so many times. I have a
problem that doesn't seem to be addressed here yet. I have Outlook 2007.
Every now and then, it will change the format that I have selected for
individual recipients to Rich Text from "let Outlook decide the best sending
format". As a result, I get notes back from some of my recipients that they
could not see the photos, etc. So I have to manually go into that contact's
internet properties and change the format back to "let Outlook decide". This
has happened many times with the same 10 or 12 recipients....

Anyone have an idea as to what's up with this? Oh, I also have a Palm Treo
smartphone that I sync with my contact list once a week, but as far as I can
tell, there doesn't seem to be a correlation with the sync and the change of
format.

Thanks in advance.

Check the settings on the Palm to see if it is changing the format options. Frequently, PDAs and not-so-SmartPhones will do this for their sending purposes and it transfers to the desktop.

Are the same 10-12 people both on your desktop Outlook and your Palm? What does each one have set on the desktop and Palm for sending format?

YESSS! It took me a while to find the place to change it, but I did have to
adjust the settings on the Treo. Thank you Milly Staples!!
