Outlook 2007 PST I can see the address in contacts can't use

I have imported the contact in a PST format from outlook 2003 to outlook
2007. I can see them in the folders but I get an error message when I try to
use them. I Have had this problem on an other computer moving from outlook
2003 to outlook 2003, and I had to go in and un-click a box so I could use
them in my new outlook set up. I can't find the box to un-check so I can see
them and use them

Your first mistake was to import them. We usually recommend that PST data is
copied and not imported.
Open your Address Book an choose Tools | Options. Check that your Contacts
folder is chosen in both fields. You might have a "ghost" Contacts folder
show up so if you have tow choose the other. You can find multiple posts on
this in the Outlook Contacts group.
