Outlook 2007 "People's Calendars" not synchronised when many in li

Since moving to Outlook 2007, a number of users at my organisation have been
finding that the calendars they keep in their "People's calendars" list have
not all been synchronising properly, so that they sometimes get an
out-of-date view of other people's calendars. This occurs when a user has
more than about 10 calendars in their "People's calendars" list.
At the back end we have an Exchange 2003/Windows 2003 server. This reports
9646 events for people with many calendars. This did not occur when users had
Outlook 2003 on their desktops with the same number of calendars in the list.
Is this a known issue?
Thanks

Alistair

Ah, thank you, yes, they are. That seems to be the default setting when we
install Outlook 2007. Do you know if the default has changed from Outlook
2003?
Thanks

Alistair

Are they caching the calendars? Check it in tools, accounts, select account,
change, more settings, advanced tab - downloading shared folders.

I don't think it was an option in 2003, so nothing was cached.
