OUTLOOK 2007 & MS WORD AS EMAIL EDITOR

S

SSJ

Hello!

I recently upgraded to Office 2007. On my Outlook I am unable to locate the option of MS Word as an email editor.

I went to:

Actions --> New Mail Message Using --> but could not find an option for MS Word as an editor.

If someone can help.

Thanks
SJ

Outlook 2007 uses a stub of Word as its email editor automatically.

Gordon's answer was succinct and correct. Below is just added info.

Outlook versions prior to 2007 allowed the user to choose between using
the new-mail editor embedded in Outlook or to use Word as the new-mail
editor. Outlook 2007 only uses Word for its new-mail editor. A stub of
Word is included in the install of Outlook (unless, of course, you're
also installing Word as part of MS Office). Consider Outlook 2007 as
including a light version of Word and also forcing you to use that light
version of Word.
