Outlook 2007 Journal not recording

M

mike

All,

Thanks in advance for any suggestions here.

I am running Outlook 2007, but the remainder is Office 2003. I have enabled
auto-record in outlook tools, but it does not seem to do so, except emails.

Questions I have;

1. Could this be a problem between 2003 and 2007?
2. Do I have to select contacts to record? I would just like everything
recorded and I will filter later.
3. It does record emails.

Thanks

You need to use the same version of office and outlook for journaling to
work correctly for documents.

You need to select all of the contacts you want journaled, if you want to
record meetings etc.

Thanks for the answer Diane. It is as I thougth. MS strikes again with
non-backwards compliance.

for file types it is backwards compatible but integration has always
required the same version of outlook and other office apps.
