Outlook 2007 issues

I have Outlook 2007 and there are issues I can't resolve. It will
fail on a send/receive many times but then will always eventually
download the messages. Sometimes I have to send receive 5 or 6 times,
sometimes the first try works. Seemingly randomly it will re-download
all old messages, around 2k for my account. I ran office diagnostics
which showed everything fine but then crashed outlook when trying to
finish and wouldn't finish step 16 of 16 in setup. I tried to
download an update from Microsoft and got the "expected application
not found on this machine" message. - any of this give anybody an
idea as to what my problem is - is is purely the size of my .pst files
causing all this trouble?

It is your Anti Virus scanning your in and outgoing emails that is causing this
issue. Uninstall your AV and then re-install it without the email integration
(scanning)

Thanks! Looks like this might have fixed some issues but it still
won't do a send/receive it seems whenever the folders are synching -
which happens pretty much all the time. Any other suggestions?
