Outlook 2007 importing issue - The file is not a personal folders file - but it is!

Anybody find a solution to this? I am getting the same error... I
exported to a pst file and also just straight copied the original pst
file... thinking I was double safe... neither file can be imported or
opened, Outlook claims the file is not a personal folders file...

Thanks for the help...

P.S. - The scenario is Outlook 2007 to Outlook 2007 on my laptop which
I reinstalled Vista 64 bit Ultimate on...

Is this pst file residing on your HDD or on a CD or DVD?
Did you CLOSE Outlook before copying it?
