Outlook 2007 error

I cannot send messages, I get an error saying it cannot connect to my POP3
(Yahoo). The only recent change is going to fiber optics (AT&T) but I've
been able to sent mail until yesterday. I have checked my settings and
nothing there changed. I can get mail thru Yahoo, nothing there changed.
I'm stumped. Can receive mail, just not send it.

What operating system are you using?

Are you sure it says it cannot connect to POP3? POP3 is the receiving
server, SMTP is for sending. Could you post the whole error message,
please?

You are correct, it cannot connect to SMTP, POP3 is fine. This happened to
me once before on another computer where I was using Intellimail. All of a
sudden no sending of email, receiving fine. I stopped using it and went back
to yahoo. Never could fix it.

I'd still like to take a look at the entire error message...

mine. I am using Vista with tiscali as ISP. I am able to receive emails but
not send them. I receive an error message Ox800CCC80 and it says !Task my
email address sending None of the authentication methods supported by this
client are supported by your server. I hope you can help.
