Outlook 2007 error "a folder by this name already exists". Fix?

Whenever I try to synchronize my email to get it inside Outlook 2007, I get
error number 0X80040604 "a folder by this name already exists". What should I
do?

I just started getting the same error. I have been useing Outlook 2007 for 3
months and no problums untill now.

XP Home with Office 2007.

Hi guys,
It is a hotmail account. I formatted my PC 2 days ago and reinstalled all
softwares I use, and I was surprised that for the last period lots of emails
sent to me were not received by outlook (even some of them were not on the
web form of hotmail including your replies to my question). I am using now
Windows XP with Outlook 2007 instead of Vista and it seems now that it is
working better I hope but I still have to see few days from now.
