Outlook 2007 Crashes

Outlook 2007 crashes with no apparent reason. The weird thing is that it
doesn't do it all the time but sometimes and when it crashes I may be working
in it or not. It may crash 3 minutes after I had opened it or 5 or half an
hour or whatever or it may not crash at all. I have also noticed that it
doesn't have to do with the send receive activation.
Things that I have already done.
I run the diagnostic feature and everything was fine.
I reinstalled outlook
The Message that I get is:
"Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
I wonder if it has to do with PLAXO but other computers running Outlook with
PLAXO don't have this problem.

when it crashes does it offer to send information to Microsoft? if so,
always send it. This will help them fix crashes.

look in the event viewer and see what files are involved. it'll read
something like outlook.exe faulted in xxx.file - the xxx.file name will give
us a clue as to whether it's plaxo or something else.

Do you have the latest version of plaxo? is the same version on all the
computers?

Thanks Diane for your response.
I went to event viewer and this is what I found.
My last crash was this morning at 8:24.
There is nothing under System.
Under Microsoft office sessions there is the following:

Source: Microsoft Office 12 Session
Category: None
Type: Error
Event ID: 7001

ID:6, Application Name: Microsoft Office Outlook, Application Version:
12.0.4518.1014, Microsoft Office Version: 12.0.4518.1014. This session lasted
325 seconds with 240 seconds of active time. This session ended with a crash.

Under Application:

Source: Microsoft Office 12
Type: Error
Category: None
Event ID: 1000

Faulting Application outlook.exe, version 12.0.4518.1014, stamp 4542840f,
faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, stamp 411096b4,debug? 0,
fault address 0x00031c6b

Yes, I have sent the information to Microsoft
The PLAXO version is the latest. I also reinstalled it.

Diane, I just remembered and I don't know if this may have to do with it. I
don't think so. When I installed Office 2007 my ISP had a compatibility
problem with Outlook 2007. I tried to go back to outlook 2003 leaving the
rest of office 2007 and it gave me an error when I tried to open outlook
2003. I asked for help in this forum and this is the answer I received:
To return to Outlook 2003 till your ISP has resolved it you can uninstall
Outlook 2007, rename MSMAPI32.dll to .old and then install Outlook 2003.
I did that and no problem at all. When my Isp resolved their problem I went
back to Outlook 2007.
