outlook 2007 cannot connect to hotmail

For WEEKS now, I have been completely unsuccessful at finding ANYONE at
Microsoft that has a clue about Outlook 2007 and paid Hotmail account
connectivity.

It seems that Outlook 2007 on Vista Ultimate 32 bit has lost the ability to
connect to my paid hotmail account. It keeps asking for the password over
and over.

My XP/2003 Outlook has no issues with my hotmail account and I can access it
on the web with no problems.

I have gone as far as to delete my Outlook 2007 PST file completely and
start with a new one (just in case it was corrupt) with no success.

The lack of support for the new Outlook version is simply incredible. With
this level of support, I don't think Office 2007 is going to be a hit at all.

You are not alone. Many are in the same situation for the last 3 weeks. There is no known fix for this at present and all I can say is to keep trying to see on a weekly basis if it has been rectified or Hotmail will put out an announcement about it.

Paid Hotmail subscribers seem not to be very happy about this . This issue affects only Paid Hotmail users in Outlook 2007
