Outlook 2007 Beta - To Do bar causing crashes

I have come across an interesting problem on Outlook 2007 Beta.

When I first installed Office 2007 beta, Outlook would work fine and I could
navigate from my inbox to the calendar with no issues.

Then as I started customising my Outlook, when tried to go to the Calendar
the program would crash and had to be restarted each time I tried. I realised
that if I went from the Inbox to the Notes and then to the Calendar, it
wouldn't crash.

I put everything together and realised that what caused the problem was the
To Do Bar. When I was customising the program I had picked the "standard" To
Do bar. When I'd go to Notes first, the standard To Do would load fine and
then I could go to Calendar with no issues. However, it seemed to casue
Outlook to crash whenever it was trying to load directly in the Calendar.

I have now switched the To Do off, and I get no more crashes.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a solution beyond turning off the
To Do bar?

Tried resetting it already?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /resettodobar

This is a requirement if you had a previous BETA installed.

Robert -

Thanks for your suggestion. I did try that, and while it works on the
current session, when I restart windows the same proble occurs. Is there a
more permanent solution?

Also - I had just rebuilt my PC, re-installing windows from scratch, so I
don't think it's related to previous beta installation.

If you had a previous beta version installed, then you should be a
member of the technical beta. Use the private beta newsgroups or submit
a bug via betaplace for this issue.
