Outlook 2007 and OpenLDAP integration

I'm trying to configure Outlook Professional 2007 to talk to my OpenLDAP
server. I create an LDAP address book account but it doesn't appear in the
drop down list of address books to be queried.

I do the same in Outlook Express 6 and I am able to query the LDAP server
OK.

Is Outlook 2007 actually compatible with LDAP servers other than Active
Directory?

Any ideas?
