Outlook 2007 and beyond

I have several questions here. :)
I have Outlook 2000 now. I would like to upgrade so that I can sync my
yahoo calendar and contacts, then be able to sync that to my phone.

Is Outlook 2007 the latest version?
Is it easy to upgrade? Or will I have to input all the contacts and other
info all over again?
Can I sync with yahoo?

Thanks!

1. Outlook 2007 is the latest.
2. Synching with a phone depends on the software your phone manufacturer supplies.
3. Only Yahoo! paid accounts can synch with Outlook.
4. All of your data is kept in a .pst file - Outlook should find it just fine.
5. Office/Outlook 2007 requires Windows XP SP-2 or later, or Windows Server 2003 or later.

Thank you! I do have another question based on what you said. You said,
"Only Yahoo! paid accounts can synch with Outlook." However, there is a free
syncing thing that yahoo offers me, and I don't pay.

Does anyone know anything about that? I have tried looking through Yahoo to
see if I can find that answer, but someone here may know as well.

I want to upgrade Outlook ONLY if I can sync....I don't use that much to
need the upgrade otherwise.
Thanks!
