Will Outlook 2003 provide support for NNTP (news) servers?

I still think its a little odd for Outlook users need to use Outlook Express
for NNTP. It would be easier to just use one program rather than two.

Outlook does not, has not had, nor probably ever will, have native support
for newsservers (except through Exchange).

As always, the only way to access newsgroups from within Outlook is by
setting a default newsreader through "Control Panel|Internet
Options|Programs", then accessing the program via "View|Goto|News". Outlook
will use the newsreader you set there. You are not limited to Outlook
Express (though it is the program most used for reading newsgroups, since it
is installed when you install Windows.)

There are many choices of newsreaders out there. Below, I give a few
instances.
MicroPlanet Gravity (now Super Gravity). Make sure you download version 2.5
or later: http://lightning.prohosting.com/~tbates/gravity/start1.html
