Outlook 2003 signature .gfi

Our art dept created a little .gif for our users to include in the signature
line. The users report that the gif appears in the signatures of initial
emails but not in the signature for "replies and forwards" even though
they're using the same signature template for them. Any thoughts?

Since Outlook will always use the format of the original message when
replying or forwarding, it's likely you don't have a signature in the format
of said message. Moreover, if the original message was Plain Text, there's
no way you'll ever be able to include an image (without manually changing
the format before sending), since, by definition, Plain Text is, well, text.
No images allowed.
