Outlook 2003 sending winmail.dat to recipients

I have 32 users that I have recently converted over to Office 2003. The
problem that I have is that anytime one particular user attaches a .pdf file
to an email, every recipient does not receive the .pdf file, but instead,
gets a winmail.dat attachment that cannot be opened. I believe the sender is
to blame. How do I set up the sender so that the .pdf attachment can be
received by all other users?

they are set for RTF formatted mail - change it to html or plain text.

Diane.

We changed our internal clients on Outlook 2003 (EXCH 2003 / AD) and it
still happens.
The only thing we can do (so far) is to ZIP the attachments first.

I've read a ton of posts, and your answer seems to fix everyone's issue but
mine!

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
