Outlook 2003 Script or Registry Query

Hello

I am looking to set a specific option in Outlook 2003 to be included in our
SMS deployed Office 2003 Pro installation routine.

The value in question is the tickbox

"Perform an automatic send/recieve when exiting"

Under Tools/options/Mail format/Send receive groups

We use an .MST file that has this checked, however, when we deploy office
using the MST it is unchecked. We think its to do with the fact the Office XP
is removed before 2003 is installed and some user settings are being retained.

Is there a Reg key where this value is set so that we can produce a .reg to
deploy to set this to on.

I would really appreciate your help guys

Try deleting the srs-file before applying the upgrade.

Hi Robert

Tried what you mentioned and that didnt work I am afraid.

Is there a default Outlook profile generator file or somekind that we can
perhaps amend with a line that will tick the box on running outlook for the
first time ?

Or perhaps some other option.

The environment does have a number of GPOs in place, could it be this
perhaps ?

Any other help appreciated
