Outlook 2003 - Running in Exchange Cache mode

Guest

Hi,

My name is Masrur. I am currently running Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and
using Outlook 2003 in Exchange Cache Mode setting. My question is:

1) I realize that running Outlook 2003 in cache mode synchronizes the copy
of the entire mailbox. What happens if Exchange Server 2003 goes down
permanently due to a falure in the hard-drive... will I be able to restore
all the files that are saved locally back to the exchange server when it was
built?

2) If the answer to #1 is true, can you refer me to any website that will
help me learn the procedure to do so incase the Exchange server goes down?

Thank you very much for your replies

1) Yes, but better it to restore the Exchange database
2) Just use Export to a pst-file. Then connect to the new Exchange server
and import the pst-file.
