Outlook 2003 Rules broken (??)

I have been an outlook user for years and years. I have had Outlook 2003 for
approximately 9 months. I would consider myself to be a very knowledgable
computer user.

About a month ago my outlook began ignoring some of my rules. I cannot
figure out any pattern behind this. It seems that sometimes it applies a
rule and sometimes it does not.

I have very simple rules, such as 'if a mail is to (e-mail address removed) then
move to folder account1' and 'if a mail is to (e-mail address removed) then move to
account2.'

As I said sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn't. I have tried
removing all the rules and then redoing them to no avail.

Any ideas?? I'd hate to have to reinstall this program.

Thanks.

It could be the logic of some of your rules. You might need "stop applying
more rules".
You can start from scratch with clean client rules by running Outlook once
with this switch:
/cleanclientrules
Starts Outlook and deletes client-based rules.

I did the /cleanclient rules.

I now have 3 new rules each is the same format:

If words in subject are XXXXX then move to folder yyyyy.

One of these three rules is the word Cialis. THIS RULE IS IGNORED! WHY?

I want to point out again that if you do a forum search for 'rules' you will
find that many, many people are having the same problem.

My mailbox is filling with crap because these rules don't work.

Please HELP.
