outlook 2003 reminders

HELP!

Im using windows xp business and windows office 2003
my reminders stopped working about the time i got a blackberry.
i get the 'reminders and recurrence' warning when outlook starts.
I have tried
1) downloading service pack 1 - no change
2) starting outlook with the resetfolders and cleanreminders switches - no
change
3) ran scanpst - it found errors and fixed them - no change to reminders
4) created a new profile - no change

I am now using a dell axim x50 with Microsoft ActiveSync
Reminders work on the pda but not on outlook

What do I do next?

Are you a corporate user? If yes, have you asked your mail admin what
version of Blackberry Enterprise Server they are using, if they are using
it? Advise them to use groups.google.com to find the fix. It involves the
version of CDO used in the BES and Exchange.
