Outlook 2003: Problems sending mail to new recipients.

This is a very strange situation. I have a user that is using Outlook 2003.
If she sends an email to someone that is already in her "address book" (i.e.
the Outlook "database" of email addresses that is built over time) then the
message will go through just fine. However, if she sends an email to a new
address then as she scrolls down to the "Subject" or body of the letter,
Outlook will say that it has encountered a problem and needs to shut down.
There is also the option to send or not send the report to Microsoft.

I looked at the information in the report and it mentions that the Code is
0xc000005. That doesn't mean much to me. In fact, most of the report info
going to Microsoft is foreign to me. The document being mentioned in the
report is:

Docume~1\bxw31\Locals~1\Temp\71975000.cvr

I found that if I remove as much as I can from the Temp folder within the
user's profile then I can send an email, but it will then give the message
that it has encountered a problem. After that, Outlook will restart.

I have no idea what could be causing this. I have removed the entire office
2003 program and reinstalled it. The problem is still occurring. I'd
greatly appreciate any help or insight on this. Thank you.

That's not an address book. It's the autocompletion cache.

This makes me think of a FAX cover. Does the person have any FAX software
installed?
