Hi. I'm running Outlook 2003 on an XP (SP2) Pro system with all updates
done to both XP and Office. My primary mail service runs through my dsl
provider. All has worked fine. I recently added an additional POP3 account
from my web host (GoDaddy). They gave me the pop3 and smtp addresses, and
instructed me to change my outgoing server to either 80 or 3535 (incoming
stayed at 110). When I run "Test Account Settings" I get green checks for
everything, saying that the account is set up correctly.
Here's the problem: I can send out from the new account--other people get
mail from my new address. I cannot, however, receive any mail addressed to
this new address. I can see it when I go to the web email server, it just
never makes its way back into Outlook. Since the "test settings" says
things are set up correctly and the pop3 address port is the same (110) as
my regular account, I'm not sure what to do! Any ideas?
TIA
