Outlook 2003 - outllib.dll troubleshooting help

G'day,
I have an issue when I open outlook 2003, read a message and then close
the message outlook has to close, the error in the event log is as
follows

Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.6353.0, stamp 408f2937,
faulting module outllib.dll, version 11.0.6359.0, stamp 40c8adfd,
debug? 0, fault address 0x00074db7.

I have tried reinstalling office2003, renaming outllib.dll and
repairing.
When I start in safe mode the issue does not exist. How can I determine
what is causing this issue ?

Any help appreciated.

outllib.dll outlook 2003

the updates in the windows update for xp was what caused the problem on my pc. my operating system is xp pro service pack 2. i was able to uninstall all updates for outlook 2003 except for the junk email update restart my computer and reinstall the update for outlook. so for i have no problems.
