Outlook 2003 Outbox

I compose and immediately send Outlook 2003 email messages. Every
newly sent message also redundantly goes into the Outbox, forcing me
to periodically go there and delete those messages. How can I compose
and send emails without a copy going into Outbox?

ALL outbound mails go to the Outbox and then get sent from there. If
you are deleting them from Outbook then you are deleting them from
getting sent. You use a send action, they go to Outbox, and the item in
Outbox get sent to your e-mail provider.

Did you confirm the messages were received? If so, the problem isn't that
they go into the outbox, as that's how outlook operates, but that they
didn't move into the sent folder upon sending. Typically when this is the
problem, the icon changes from a stamped envelope to an open envelope and
the message isn't in italics.
