Outlook 2003 opens IE7 and Firefox

I have been using firefox for a while with no previous problems, and it is
selected as my default browser. However, recently I have found that when I
click a hyperlink in outlook 2003, it opens the link in both firefox and IE7
(I'm using using Vista)

I have tried selecting IE7 as default browser, and when I do hyperlink only
opens IE7. When I default back to firefox, both browsers open again.

I have also tried changing the .url extension default association.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

Is Outlook 2003 your default email program?

Yes it is

I just noticed you're using Vista so all bets are off :) Go back to XP
if you want your Office to work properly. Either that or get Office 07.

Office O3 doesn't work properly on Vista. Common knowledge. Ergo, go
back to XP or whip out the cash and get Office 07. What's your bleeding
edge advice, hot shot?

Yeah, you're a top posting Wintard who uses a delimiter and has a
reading comprehension problem (see above for a longer explanation for
reading comprehension impaired persons).
