Outlook 2003 News reader

Recenetly I attempted to set up Outlook 2003 as my News Reader. I followed
the very simple instructions that are supplied in the help pages for
activating the menu item and everything worked fine. However, the next time
I tried to use the news reader the menu item had disappeared from the "GO"
Menu and it is no longer available in any of the other menus or within the
customise toolbar function. I would like to sort this out if anyone can help
please.

I have searched several tech sites looking for an answer without success.

Outlook does really have a newsreader. It uses Outlook Express' newsreader.
Go to Internet Options, Programs and change the newsreader to Outlook Express
and you should be able to add the Go button to Outlook. Look up Newsgroups in
OL help.

To get the News command back, go back to the Programs tab in Control Panel |
Internet Options and change the default newsreader to Outlook Express. If
OE prompts you to make it your default newsreader the next time you launch
it, click the "Don't ask me again" box and then click the No button.

You may need to reset the menu or toolbar using Tools, customize.

I would like to thank everyone for their replies. I did evenyually (a couple
of hours) find the answer to this problem in another forum. But I hope that
the answers given by everyone will help some other poor and unsuspecting
Windows user.
