Outlook 2003: Intellisync for MSN doesn't work

Hi,

I have office 2003 running fine on a new Windows XP SP1
laptop. Then I installed MSN 8 and Intellisync on that
machine. MSN Explorer works fine. However when I try to
use Intellisync for MSN, to sync my information with MSN,
I get the following error:

---------------------------
Microsoft Outlook is not properly configured. Please run
Microsoft Outlook and complete the configuration steps.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

I am not sure why it is not working. It worked fine with
the Outlook XP (2002). In outlook XP, I did not require
any configuration for Intellisync.

Any ideas why it is not working? Also does the ActiveSync
works with Outlook 2003? I am running Widows XP SP1 with
all the latest security updates.

Any help is appreciated.

Since Outlook 2003 is still in beta (unless you just bought a new machine
with Office 2003 preinstalled) I would wait for the released version and
then try it again.

If it does not work, then contact MSN support. Most companies do not support
beta software, that is why you will need to wait if your Outlook is still
the beta.
