Outlook 2003 Inbox Problems

I have a friend that is using Win XP and Office 2003. In the past she had
Outlook 2000, but her office was broken into and she lost her computers.
She was able to access her Email, using webmail from her website. She has
converted her Email account to Outlook 2003.

She can't click on the Inbox and get her Email to preview. The "Preview
Pane" options are grayed out. Clicking on any option produces nothing.
Please help.

Perhaps I didn't explain the problem sufficiently.

After she lost her computers, she bought new ones. She installed Win XP and
Office 2003 on her new computers. Until she converted her Email account to
Outlook 2003, she was able to access her Email, via webmail at her website.
Someone else developed her website.

She has setup her Email account in Outlook 2003, which doesn't work. She
has setup her incoming Pop3 server to get mail from her website, e.g.,
pop.domainname.com, and outgoing mail server at "smtp.west.cox.net".

She can see that she has mail in her 'Inbox' folder (##). If she clicks on
the 'Inbox' folder, nothing happens. As explained before, everything is
grayed out in the options for the 'Preview Pane' options.

Please help.
