Outlook 2003 ICQ Bar Removal?

Hello to all!

My problem is in fact very simple - Would like to remove ICQ Bar from
Outlook.

Used Outlook with adequate ICQ plugin before, but switched back to OE
because newsgroups. Now is Outlook considerably slower because of ICQ
Toolbar and I can't remove it. There is only Services - Add Mor Features
available, unfortunately no Remove option in sight.

What can I do? URGENT help needed, please!

Many thx in advance,

Try Tools > Options > Other > Advanced Options > Addin Manager and/or COM
Addis and remove the ICQ addin.

Add-In Manager doesn't show ANY ICQ components and it appears nothing is
installed yet.
COM Add-Ins list is empty.

Situation still the same - I can only hide the toolbar.

Open regedit and motor to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins

I bet that there is a folder under this location that points to a ICQ addin.
(addins loaded here don't show in the user interface) If I'm right, you
should be able to export and delete the folder or change the LoadBehavior
value to 2.

There's also a (I assume lagacy?) file called extend.dat in the user
profile, Local Settings, App data/ms/outlook folder that may contain
references - older versions of McAfee antivirus used that route, and
didn't report their "scaneml" function in the add-ins list...

THANK YOU VERY, VERY MUCH - Do You perhaps also have such simple solution to
my other problem ad "MAIL IMPORT DIFFERENCES" in
Microsoft.Public.Windows.ie6_oe?

Thx in advance,
