Outlook 2003 - doesn't restart

I have Outlook 2003 (11.5608.5703) on my Dell laptop.

When I turn on the computer, Outlook works; if I happen to close it, and
then try to restart it, it doesn't restart. I don't get any messages, it just
doesn't restart. Once I restart the machine, it once again works.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Hi Jackson Hawk,
first off all run scanpst.exe
Have you installed any addins?
If so, try to deactivate them and look if its solve your problem!

Thanks for the quick reply. Should I run scanpst.exe before I close Outlook,
after I close Outlook, or does it not matter?

I have not installed any addins to Outlook.

please close Outlook and than start scanpst.exe
