Outlook 2003 crashing with ntdll.dll when using IMAP

I began experiencing problems on 3 computers simultaneously, all running
Outlook 2003 and connecting to my email host's server using IMAP4. Outlook
experiences a "fatal error" and Windows XP closes it. In the error report
generated by Windows XP, it says that the failure is associated with the
files "ntdll.dll" and "outlook.exe". Troubleshooting has shown that this
problem only occurs when using IMAP connections, and not with POP3, and using
a secure SSL connection or not with the IMAP server does not make any
difference. Altho I may have two problems in the end, one associated with
the email server (since all three computers began failing at about the same
time), the problem associated with Outlook closing is clearly a problem that
should not be occuring and has nothing to do with the email host server.
Search of Microsoft KB has turned up nothing, *except* an article about
Outlook using an Exchange Server IMAP connection causing a similar crash and
which Microsoft had no resolution for in the article. I also found a KB
article about Outlook using a POP connection experiencing a crash involving
ntdll.dll, but all of the resolution steps shown for that one has not made
any difference in my problem.

Any advice for a resolution?

Additional troubleshooting info...

Running Outlook 2003 in Safe mode makes no difference, still crashes when
accessing IMAP folders/server.

I created a new Email Account for IMAP (in case the original one is
corrupted), but made no difference, outlook.exe still crashes with ntdll.dll.

This is Outlook 2003 SP3, ver 11.8169.8172, running on Win XP Pro SP2 one
machine, Win XP MCE SP2 on second machine, Win XP Home SP2 on third machine
(all with latest updates). Antivirus on first two machines is Microsoft
OneCare (latest), and NIS 2008 on third machine.

Some of the Error Report info:
AppName: outlook.exe AppVer: 11.0.8118.0, AppStamp: 456628BF
ModName: ntdll.dll ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180, ModStamp: 4110966B4

All computers were recently updated via both WindowsUpdate and OfficeUpdate.

Try a new mail profile.
