We recently added a VPN between two locations. Before
adding, the OL2003 client worked in both locations.
I have a OL2003(Exchange Client Version) client trying to
connect to a Exchange 5.5 server. It works fine except
from a remote location that NOW has a VPN connection
between the two sites via Cisco PIX.
The OL2000 clients work fine. We added a route in the
hosts file to reflect the VPN channel of
192.168.1.1 tt2server
The OL2000 is not experiencing any problems but the
OL2003 client is connecting and then disconnecting.
I am not quite up to date on the cache feature. This
OL2003 client works fine when it is at the corporate
office.
Does the OL2003 server use tt2server as the Exchange
Server name or does it use the FQDN (tt2server.dd.com)?
I would have thought the Exch 2003 client would if
anything worked better than the earlier versions in this
type environment.
Thanks in advance for everyone's expertise.
