Outlook 2003 cannot display embed images. Not a problem with "Automatic Picture Download Settings"

Hello,
A user here has been having weird problems.
Her outlook decided to stop displaying images.
The automatic picture download setting is disabled so it should not
prevent it.

When she clicks on "Reply" or "Forward", the picture appears in the
message, but never when she double clicks an inbound email with a
picture.

Here is a screenshot:

After some testing we were able to see that she is able to see some
user's images, but some other she can't.

I have had the same issue when we started to using Outlook 2003.
Viewing the html source after a few replies reference a outbind src the same
logo which seems to get lost.

Example.
src="outbind://184/image125.jpg" width=125 border=0></TD></TR>

The orginal image location resides in the signature folder.

It shows up as a red x on the emails.

We found placing the image on a website not a option.

Help also Mr. Bill.

I was having similar problem with the "outbind" issue. The workaround I have
so far is copying the gif image into
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery\" and reference
it using:
<img src="C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery\xxx.gif"/>

The bad side of this is after several replies between 2 parties, the email
would contain multiple attachments of xxx.gif.

If anyone's came up with a better solution, could they let me know please?

Thanks
An Chi
