Outlook 2003 and McAfee 8.0

Does anyone know if there is a compatibility issue
between Outlook 2003 and McAfee 8.0? I have them
installed, but when I am using another program and switch
back to outlook, it freezes.

There is not a know issue with 8.0 and switching.
There could be other software that's causing the issues.
However that's not saying that in your particular issues it is not the cause
