Outlook 2003: Add "Empty XXX Folder" (right button) to folder XXX

I have a Spam folder, and it would be useful if I could right click it and
empty it, ratheer than open it, select all, and then delete.
Copying and renaming Junk E-mail folder does not work.
And it is no good creating Spam folder in Junk E-mail a it gets deleted when
Junk E-mail is emptied.
TIA,
Bill

are you using outlook 2003's junk folder or one created by a 3rd party spam
scanner? Outlook's junk email folder does have such an option. The problem
with adding it to every folder is too many users would accidently empty the
folder. You can also set it to delete items 1 day old (on archive tab) then
run autoarchive every day or so.

I think "Junk E-mail" is created by Outlook 2003 itself. I do not recall
creating it myself. As you say, it has the desirable right button empty
option.

I have my own folder "Spam" into which CloudMark Spam finder places spam;
it's quite good but not perfect.

Having the "empty folder" option is dangerous, and I would not want to add
it to every folder either. Not being able to add it to any is a bit
awkward.

I've adopted the autoarchive route; it is progress.

Many thanks,
Bill :)
